Saro by Snow Lotus Artisan Essential Oils is uplifting, vitalizing and energizing without causing fatigue, acting gently yet powerfully. 

Saro is excellent for beating feelings of lethargy and drowsiness, as well as for mental fogginess and difficulty concentrating. This oil may also help balance oily, congested skin and scalp.

Topical use: In dilution, Saro is excellent for clearing nasal and sinus congestion and should be used in steam inhalations and chest rubs/liniments for colds and flus, bronchial conditions, etc. because of its excellent anti-infective and immunostimulant action, especially in viral conditions.

Fragrance profile: A classic fresh, camphoraceous oil with smooth, warm, sweet and slightly spicy middle notes

Fragrance energy: Fresh-pungent

Properties: Uplifting, vitalizing, stimulating, decongesting

Actions: To tonify Qi and Yang, boost defensive Qi, raise Yang and strengthen the Mind

Complimentary blending: Blue-gum eucalyptus, Ravintsara, Niaouli, Juniper berry, Hemlock spruce, Siberian fir, Silver fir, Cardamom, Nutmeg Ingredients: Sandalwood (Santalum album) essential oil, heartwood, cultivated, selective, from India.

Ingredients: Saro Essential Oil (Cinnamosma fragrans). Plant part: The leaf. Origin: Madagascar. Production: Wild-harvested, organic. Extraction: Steam distillation of the fresh leaves.

For external use only. Properly dilute all essential oils in lotion or vegetable carrier oil before massage or other topical use.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.
