Phenomenal and extraordinary piece by John Galliano, from his highly acclaimed and noteworthy Spring/Summer 1995 'Misia Diva'/Pin Up Collection. Shown here documented on the legendary runway. An unusual dove grey / beige / grey / ecru color moire fabric, akin to drapery feel and weight. Featuring an amazing Galliano detail- the architectural, raised, standing shoulder with paneled and stitched details, padded for extra drama. The body of this coat is cropped, with several dangling/wrapping tail panels. Shown closed with a dragonfly pin on the runway that did not come with the jacket when sold. We've shown it pinned closed on the mannequin to display the effect, but there are no snaps or closures at all. This would look great utilizing a brooch like Galliano did, but could also be belted, or wrapped and tied off in a variety of ways such as the ones we've shown you in the variety of pictures here. Fully lined in white satin. Unbelievably, this piece has never been worn and comes with the original tag still attached. Museum worthy.

Condition: Excellent, near pristine condition. Only flaw to mention are two very minor pin pricks/snags to lining that are not visible when worn as they are on the inside. This item is deadstock, with original tag still attached, and has never been previously used/worn.
