Der Tankring Basic von HEPCO & BECKER ist speziell für das Modell Ducati Monster M 600 der Baujahre 1994 bis 1999 konzipiert. Dieses Produkt ermöglicht eine stabile und sichere Befestigung von Tankrucksäcken der gleichen Marke.

Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind der Tankring sowie ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter, der abhängig von der Tankform und dem Lenkereinschlag am Tankrucksack montiert wird. Der Zugang zum Tankdeckel bleibt auch mit montiertem Tankring uneingeschränkt möglich.

Der Basic Tankring unterscheidet sich von dem Lock-it Tankring durch seine rein mechanische Verriegelung, ohne Unterstützung durch Magnete. Die Montage und Bedienung bleibt jedoch in beiden Fällen ähnlich. Ein Tankrucksack mit Lock-it Gegenhalter ist nicht mit dem Basic Tankring kompatibel und umgekehrt.
