Beschreibung

Der runde Korb Pura wird komplett von Hand aus Bananenfaser gefertigt. Die aufgesetzten weißen Baumwollschnüre sind kunstvoll im traditionellen „Kawung“-Muster geflochten und ein echter Eyecatcher. Besonders in Kombination mit einem Korb mit schwarzen Schnüren, wie zum Beispiel bei unserem Modell Praya, ergibt sich ein faszinierenden Kontrast.

Pura überzeugt nicht nur mit seinem ästhetischen Design, sondern auch mit durchdachter Funktionalität. Dank der eingearbeiteten Haltegriffe ist er äußerst platzsparend und bietet vielseitige Verwendungsmöglichkeiten, sei es als stilvoller Wäschekorb, Pflanzkorb oder als dekorativer Stauraum. Mit drei verschiedenen Größen zur Auswahl findest du garantiert die perfekte Aufbewahrungslösung, die deinen individuellen Bedürfnissen gerecht wird.

Unsere Produkte sind kunstvoll hergestellte Einzelstücke. Aufgrund der Fertigung von Hand und natürlicher Variationen der Materialien können sie in Größe, Farbe und Form leicht voneinander abweichen.

Unsere Körbe werden aus Pflanzenfasern hergestellt. Sie riechen deshalb wunderbar nach Natur und sie fühlen sich auch so an.

Hauptmaterial: Bananenfaser

Bei Bananenfaser handelt es sich um die Fasern der schichtartig aufgebauten Stämme landwirtschaftlich genutzter Bananenstauden. Die intensiv braune Färbung entsteht natürlicherweise, wenn die Fasern für etwa eine Woche unter der Sonne getrocknet werden. Danach werden die einzelnen Streifen zu den charakteristischen, etwa 6 mm dicken Strängen gerollt. Für dieses Material werden ausschließlich alte, absterbende Bananenstauden genutzt. So wird diesen Nutzpflanzen ein zweites Leben als formstabiles und robustes Ausgangsmaterial für viele handgefertigte Körbe hier bei Soeji ermöglicht.

Overall sound thesis worthy of thoughtful consideration

Choudary’s book has the tag line, “Who wins when AI restacks the knowledge economy.” While the book is annoying in sections, vague in others, and prone to jargon in yet more locations, the basic thesis is sound and compelling. It’s worth considering. Choudary’s main argument is that the winners after AI technology is widely adopted will be those who take a systems view of their business rather than simply upgrading individual elements within it. He backs this with several examples based on past technological disruptions and hypothetical case studies. He argues that the best advantages from AI will come from improved communication and managing risk. He supports these arguments reasonably well within the chapters. He also includes 10 Takeaways at the end of each chapter, which is extremely helpful for recapping and making sure the reader understood the thesis. What gets annoying is Choudary goes back to the same case studies again and again and again. I reached the point of saying, “the horse is dead. Please stop flogging it.” Next, some of his arguments about things like “managing risk” are vague—there’s not enough about specific risks to be useful, which leaves AI as a magic wand to wave. Finally, as with many business writers, Choudary occasionally (but not overwhelmingly) drops into jargon like “technological solutionism.” Overall, I recommend the book. It’s made me think, even as I struggle to apply the principles to my own business.
