Die Pimax Dream Air SLAM ist ein ultraleichtes High-End-VR-Headset für anspruchsvolle Simulationen und immersive VR-Erlebnisse. Mit einem Gewicht von unter 170 g bietet es hohen Tragekomfort auch bei langen Sessions. Für die Darstellung kommen hochauflösende Sony Micro-OLED-Displays mit 3.840 x 3.552 Pixeln pro Auge zum Einsatz. In Kombination mit der Pimax ConcaveView-Optik und einem Sichtfeld von 110° HFOV entsteht ein besonders scharfes und immersives Bild. Für präzises Tracking nutzt das Headset SLAM-Tracking mit 4 integrierten Inside-out-Kameras, wodurch keine externen Basisstationen erforderlich sind. Ergänzt wird dies durch DFR-fähiges Eye-Tracking, integriertes Hand-Tracking sowie 6DOF-Controller für eine präzise und natürliche Steuerung in VR. Integriertes Spatial Audio sorgt für räumlichen Klang, während ein Doppellüfter-System die Kühlung verbessert und den Tragekomfort erhöht. Die Verwaltung und Einrichtung erfolgt über Pimax Play. Für eine stabile Signalübertragung nutzt das Headset ein geteiltes DisplayPort-Kabel.

The bottle opener sticks out at a slight angle. This does not affect the performance, but it does detract from the novelty somewhat.

Initially it was a bit challenging to set up as I was not fortunate enough to have assistance (the instructions tell you that you need two people for part of the installation process). I also had to play around with placement a bit as my available installation space was extremely limited and neither of the listed/'suggested mounting situations worked for me; however, with some head-scratching and debating with myself, I finally figured how to make it work how and where I needed it it, and all was good!! It functions well, and holds adequate weight, and looks really good with the light lacquer finish...the only thing I will say to a potential buyer is to make sure you have room to walk past it easily when its closed down because it still sticks out a few inches even when closed down...overall, very happy with this item and would purchase again.
