Ein Rebozo ist eine Schlinge/ein Schal, die/der auch zur Massage verwendet werden kann. Das Rebozo ist in sehr unterschiedlichen Farben und Mustern aus Baumwolle, Wolle oder Kunstfasern gewebt. Sie sind in verschiedenen Längen und Stärken erhältlich. Wenn das Rebozo für eine Massage verwendet wird, wird die ideale Länge hauptsächlich von der Länge des Masseurs und der Technik bestimmt, die angewendet werden soll. Für die Europäer sind oft etwas längere Rebozos praktisch. Für eine optimale Situation ist es schön, wenn das Tuch wie eine Schlinge gewebt ist, in der Länge fest und diagonal mit nur wenig Dehnung. . Die Rebozos in unserem Webshop kommen aus Guatemala, wo sie traditionell auf einem Treppenwebstuhl eines Familienunternehmens gewebt werden. Sie bestehen aus glänzender Baumwolle.

Woher kommt Rebozo?

Das Rebozo wird von Frauen in Mittelamerika seit jeher in vielen verschiedenen Situationen eingesetzt. Traditionelle Hebammen machen besonderen Gebrauch davon, weil sie es zur Massage, Bewegung und Unterstützung während der Schwangerschaft, der Geburt und während das Wochenbett verwenden. Das Wissen über die Verwendung des Rebozos breitet sich immer mehr außerhalb Mittelamerikas aus. Das bringt regelmäsig die erinnerung, dass die traditionelle Verwendung von Tüchern auch in anderen Kulturen vorkommt. Manchmal sind überraschend viele Gemeinsamkeiten zu sehen. Die Quelle des Wissens, das wir auf dieser Website teilen, ist jedoch in Mexiko.

Wie funktioniert die Massage mit einem Tuch?

Eine Rebozo-Massage wird mit einem oder mehreren Tüchern durchgeführt. Das Rebozo wird um ein Körperteil gelegt und so gespannt, dass es Halt und Schutz bietet. Dann können mit dem Rebozo kleine oder größere Bewegungen ausgeführt werden, so dass die Person geschaukelt und in dem Rebozo bewegt wird. Dies bietet eine sehr entspannende Massage und wird von vielen als sehr angenehm und beruhigend empfunden.

less early morning blowouts!

As a mom of a very active toddler, finding a diaper that actually holds up overnight has been a journey. We recently switched to the Huggies Size 7 Overnites, and overall, I’m really glad we did. First, the biggest win: way fewer blowouts. Before this, we were dealing with middle-of-the-night sheet changes more often than I’d like to admit. Since using these, that’s pretty much stopped, which alone has been a huge quality-of-life improvement for both me and my toddler. They’re also super absorbent compared to regular diapers. The fit is snug but still flexible, which is great because he moves a lot in his sleep. That said, they’re not 100% perfect for us. We still get the occasional small pee leak, especially if he’s had a lot to drink before bed or sleeps in certain positions. BUT—and this is important—it’s still so much better than what we were dealing with before. Instead of full outfit and bedding changes, it’s usually just slightly damp pajamas. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend these to other parents dealing with overnight messes. They’ve significantly reduced our stress and cleanup, even if they’re not completely leak-proof for every single night. If you’re on the fence and struggling with overnight blowouts, these are definitely worth trying.
