Dieser Durchschlag in leuchtendem Gelb ist ein Entwurf des dänischen Designers Ole Jensen und besticht durch seine herrlich poppige Anmutung. Ursprünglich wurde das ikonische Design in den 90ern in einer preisgekrönten Zusammenarbeit mit der Porzellanmanufaktur Royal Copenhagen entwickelt. Bei dem hier vorliegenden Objekt handelt es sich um die moderne, funktionale Kunststoff-Variante von Room Copenhagen, die seit 2013 den spielerischen Geist des Entwurfs perfekt in den Alltag überträgt.

Die Formsprache ist typisch für Jensen: weich, organisch und fast schon skulptural. Durch die markante, asymmetrische Linienführung und die kräftige Farbe ist das Sieb viel zu schade, um es im Schrank zu verstecken. Dank des flachen Bodens und der weiten Öffnung eignet sich der Durchschlag auch als Obstschale perfekt, wobei die Löcher im Boden für eine optimale Luftzirkulation sorgen und deine Früchte länger frisch halten.

Ein echtes Design-Statement für die Küche, das Funktionalität mit der Leichtigkeit des skandinavischen New Designs verbindet.

My hubby likes it too :) it’s the favorite house pillow now.
