Die LuxeMat Duo ist als Weiterentwicklung der berühmten MegaMat Duo noch komfortabler, robuster und bequemer – die ultimative Matte für das alpine Basislager, beim Campen mit dem Auto, für das Leben im Van oder als praktisches Gästebett. Mit einer Breite von 104 cm (M) oder 132 cm (LW+) eignet sich die Duo-Version eignet perfekt für Abenteuer zu zweit oder als extra grosse, luxuriöse Einzelmatte.

Die einzigartig bequeme und weiche Auflage besteht aus Bio-Baumwolle sowie einer Isolationsschicht aus Wolle. Sie weist aufgrund der feuchtigkeitsregulierenden Eigenschaften der beiden Naturmaterialien ein hervorragendes Feuchtigkeitsmanagement auf. Die verwendete Wolle ist nach dem höchsten Tierschutzstandard zertifiziert. Die 3D-Konstruktion und eine Dicke von 10 cm sorgen für besten Liegekomfort. Das Aufblasen sowie das Ablassen der Luft wird durch die beiden Flachventile erleichtert.

Durch praktische Seitenreissverschlüsse können mehrere Matten ganz einfach und lückenlos miteinander verbunden werden. In den Taschen an den Seiten können kleinere Gegenstände verstaut werden.

Das robuste Ripstop-Material erhöht die Langlebigkeit und Haltbarkeit der Matte, zwei wichtige Punkte in der Nachhaltigkeitsphilosophie von EXPED. Der Bezug kann ganz einfach abgenommen und in der Maschine gewaschen werden. Im Lieferumfang inbegriffen ist eine Mini-Pump sowie unser Sidewinder Bag für ein schnelles und einfaches Packen.

It’s painful. Not worth it.

I hate it. Period. Very strong feelings about it right out of the box. Gave it a few days, and not only do I still hate it but it’s very painful to use. The rubber material is hard and has pressure points that make you come away feeling like you’ve rested your wrist on the edge of a table for too long. I come away more sore using this than not. They only have small and large sizes, I think the small is too small for me? (I’m not sure. I can tell it doesn’t fit well, but I can’t tell if it’s because it’s too small or the shape isn’t right for my wrist). In any event, I am sure the large would be too large and even if they had a medium size I still wouldn’t repurchase this. Maybe if you’ve got some meat on your bones it would be more comfortable but as you can see, I am a very thin person and this is pressing on all the wrong places. I also feel like the center valley part contributes to carpal tunnel pain because the very firm edges of each side rested right in that area, not offering any support to the valley of the wrist, and therefore creating pressure to that nerve center and the ligaments. I don’t know why they chose this material, it’s too firm. Also, I think a better design would be a little tab from the center of it sticking out and then attaching to the bottom of the mouse so that both mouse and the wrist “support” worked as one unit when moving the mouse around. I often found that I didn’t drag the wrist piece with my mouse well and that it caused even more issues. If it were comfortable I would have made a little tab myself and connected the mouse and the wrist rest together, but as it’s extremely not even remotely comfortable I’m not bothering and I’ve already started the return process.
